MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM MEXICO AND BEYOND: LAURA'S PHOTO JOURNEY 2021

It is totally amazing to me that another year has passed and that this holiday blog posting is my eighth since I began my blog "journey." I am truly astounded, but so very appreciative to have had this experience and to have met so many wonderful people and blog followers along the way. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and wish you a wonderful holiday season wherever you may be. With my sincere appreciation, Laura

Wearing my oldie, but goodie, red huipil from Oaxaca to celebrate the holidays.

The following are some of my favorite images of Christmas holidays from our years of living in and exploring this amazing country.

This Christmas tree was created from red plants in Oaxaca City.

The angels of Christmas as seen in San Miguel de Allende.

Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer graced our home in San Miguel de Allende.

Poinsettias are the traditional flower of Christmas in Mexico

I simply adore the anthurium plant which says Christmas to me.

The Royal Poinciana plant is also brilliant in Christmas red.

False bird of Paradise, or Helicon, is a native to Peru and Bolivia and other South American countries and I am happy we have them in Mexico.

Red Ginger is another beautiful plant which I adore.

Thank you for joining me in this nostalgic journey of Christmas in Mexico.  Until we meet again, wishing you well wherever your travels should take you.  Laura
