URBAN STREET ART IN LATIN AMERICA FROM OUR TRAVELS

As many of you probably know by now I simply adore street art and I have published quite a few blog postings on the subject. Today my husband suggested that I create a new blog posting with my very favorite urban street art images from the various  countries where we have lived for extended periods of time or visited on trips. So here we go!

Portugal is known for its amazing tile work and this image seen on the street reflects this.

More tile work as seen on the streets of Portugal.

Like Portugal, Spain also has a lot of street art made of tiles which also gives you the location you are looking for.

More Street art tiles in Spain with the name of the location where you wish to dine.

The street art in Chile was big, bright, and bold.

Chile and with its colorful street art even in the alleys.

Argentina street art as seen at the location of the subte (subway train station).

Guatemala celebrates the Day of the Dead with giant handmade kites which I definitely consider street art.

Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) celebrations in Antigua, Guatemala.

Creating street art in Colonia Guadalupe in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

The buildings in Venezuela are painted in colors that are "street art" in my opinion.

A classic Chevy all tricked out in Salento, Colombia which I also definitely consider Urban Art.

One of my favorite street art images from Puerto Vallarta which I consider an "urban area."

And more urban art as seen recently on an apartment building in "Old Town" Puerto Vallarta.

And last but not least, a photograph I just found from our travels in New Zealand.  Now that is one big example of urban street art!

Thank you for joining me in my nostalgic memories of Urban street art from the Latin America world. Until we meet again wishing you well with wonderful travels and adventures wherever they may take you. Laura
